My name is Kevin Liu, a New Zealand registered MNZAS Audiologist, and I am pleased to provide professional hearing care services at Windsor Medical Centre.

I grew up in New Zealand and completed my Master of Audiology with Honours at the University of Auckland. Over the past 15 + years, I have worked across a wide range of clinical and leadership roles, including at Greenlane Hospital, and as a Clinic manager, Area Manager and Regional Manager for the North Island at Bay Audiology and Triton Hearing, the two largest private audiology providers in New Zealand. In these roles, I led more than 50 hearing care professionals and oversaw the operations of 15 clinics, while completing tens of thousands of diagnostic assessments and consultations.

Through my work, I noticed a significant gap in hearing-care support for the Chinese community in New Zealand – particularly the lack of Mandarin speaking clinicians and services that truly understand cultural preferences and communication styles. This inspired me to use my experience to help fill this gap and provide hearing care that is both professional and culturally aligned.

With this vision, I founded Eastern Hearing, dedicated to offering high clinical standards of care to local communities. Our services include:

  • Comprehensive hearing assessments
  • Professional earwax removal – microsuction (for both children and adults)
  • Hearing aid fitting, counselling, and fine-tuning
  • Personalised tinnitus assessment and management
  • Convenient remote follow-up and support

I am fluent in English, Mandarin and can understand Cantonese, and I have a strong understanding of the communication preferences and health care expectations of NZ communities. Whether you are looking to improve your hearing, or a family member concerned about your parents’ hearing health, I look forward to supporting you with professional, warm, and trustworthy care.
